Administrator

This is the main module of the HMS. Admin has all the rights and permission to handle other modules of the hospitals via HMS. Admin can manage departments of hospitals. Admin can manage various accounts such as doctors, patients, accountant, etc. Admin can add doctors, nurses and can watch transaction reports of patient payment, blood bank report, medicine stock status, birth reports, death reports, bed, ward, admit the history of the patient and much more. Admin can also create a backup and restore it anytime.

Patient Management:

This module deals with overall patient care and management related to Reception desk, OPD, IPD, Laboratory, Radiology etc. It also manages appointments, visitor and various aspects of Indoor and Outdoor patients.

1. Reception desk

   This module makes front desk office work easy by speeding up patient’s registration process, scheduling appointments and providing further information related to a patient. This module eliminates any scope for a mistake as it removes and checks duplicate junk entry.
   Both small and large multi-specialty hospitals consist of various departments, and scheduling appointments and managing staff become a task. At this module comes into action , and it provides detailed as well as a clear view of schedules of various physicians of each department and their availability within the hospital so that further appointments could be scheduled. In the case of unavailability of a particular doctor, HMS is capable of rescheduling and reassigning appointments.This module also consists of information of the patients, doctors, departments and employees in the hospital, visitors visiting the hospital premises. The system uses the BI to give you the performance of the same in terms of availability, performance, etc.

2. OPD and IPD Management

   As hospitals are flooded with patients, and for providing better healthcare services, a hospital has to manage all the requirements of the patients. Gradually, it becomes a huge task for a hospital to take care of all the components such as admissions, bed management, nurse management, transfers, insurance, and discharge. HMS is competent enough to offer configurable workflow, store information and retrieve it whenever it is necessary.Moreover, registration of the patient is the vital part of the hospital before undergoing any consultations, observations from the hospitals. Registration involves recording certain demographic information about the patient. A Unique registration ID or ‘UHID number’( Unique Healthcare Identification Number) is created for each patient. Now, this number is stored in the hospital for future references. The record of family details of patients can also be entered in the database .It also includes the OPD billing involves the record of all the services being taken by the OPD patients.

3. IPD:

   This modules deal with the In-patient Management. This takes cares of the complete cycle when the patient has been allotted a bed in the ward to when he is discharged. Patient’s complete diagnosis, treatment record is recorded in the database during his stay in the hospital.

4. Laboratory:

   Maintaining EHR records is primarily important for the smooth running of the hospitals.HMS provides effective Electronic Health Records Management System which not only includes the medical history of the patient but also stores lab reports, X-ray and other investigative reports, admission and procedure notes, medical record tracking.
